Dr.Hema is very experienced, endocrinologist, consulted for my dad , as he has frequent hypoglycemic issues... She addressed the issue well, so patient in listening and explaing all queries ... While most doctors believe in medicines especially diabetes.. she stresses on lifestyle changes , exercises, she makes sure each patient understands the value of nutrition in diabetes , and ensures each patient to follow the nutrition, she also asks patient to share their daily meal pics to her on whatsapp ... And follows daily ... In between the appointments too ... she offers the best treatment in modifying the diabetic medications , especially decreasing the dosage of insulin and slowly taking of the insulin and converting to oral tablets in longstanding diabetes patients and if a patient is new ... She motivates the patient in such a way .. that newly diagnosed patients go in to disease remission ... with out any type of tablets or medications as long as patients strictly follow her lifestyle , exercise and nutrition advise...
